• How long does it take to learn to hang glide?

• That depends on your nascent skills and your instructor's style. Please visit the instructors' link on our website and choose an instructor near you.

• I already know how to fly, can I use your carts?

• Of course, we use them ourselves to get as many flights as we want in, each time we are out! We prefer that students and out of town pilots be allowed to use the carts as much as possible to maximize their opportunity, but you are equally welcome!

• What about paragliders?

• Paraglider pilots are very welcome to use our system and help out running it. We're set up with hang gliding in mind, since hang gliders are tougher to get back up the hill, but we expect that many paraglider pilots are going to enjoy the ride, as well. Paraglider pilots may walk the road for free.

• Do you rent Hang Gliders?

• The Big O Loop does not, but High Adventure has a great selection and service for rental equipment of many types.

• How much does it cost?

• For students, it is included in the cost of your lesson. For others, please see the prices list link on the left.

• When are you open?

• The carts are available most flyable days, to be sure that they are, check the calendar link on the left.

• How long can I stay up?

• That depends on conditions and skill. In most conditions and with beginner pilots, the flight will be a sled ride of about a minute. However, in conditions with strong thermals or ridge lift, flights may only be limited by skill, desire, and stamina.
